It is not possible to be a successful violin teacher without taking into account the characteristics and expectations of each individual student. For this reason, I adapt to the requirements of each of them by designing strategies appropriate to their musical needs and targets.
When teaching children, I take advantage of how naturally they relate to music through movement and emphasize the playful nature of musical training, while simultaneously developing sound learning habits. With regards to adults, I am very responsive their stated goals, and make the most of their own motivation for and satisfaction in playing music.
I enjoy getting to know each student, understanding their needs and creatively helping them to develop their potential to the maximum.
Baroque violin│

Today it is increasingly common to have information that brings us closer to the world of historically informed performance. Fortunately, this kind of content is no longer inaccessible to students of any level, so that anyone can learn to play music as it was played in the period corresponding to the repertoire to be interpreted.
I was fortunate to be a student of Hiro Kurosaki, one of the leading exponents of historicist violin performance in Europe. After years of working under his tutelage, I can say that I have never felt so close to a comprehensive vision of Baroque and Classical composers and how to interpret them in a vibrant and emotional way.
My way of initiating my students into the field of performance is very flexible and always responsive to their level and interests. However, even though the result of a modern and a historical interpretation is very different, there are ways to make teaching in both styles compatible. In recent years, I have developed a methodology that allows the student to broaden his musical horizons while respecting his own goals.

Most of the lessons I have taught throughout my life have been face-to-face. However, when I had to live in other cities, I decided, despite my doubts, to take the initiative and try teaching my classes online. After years of experience, I can say without hesitation that online teaching has exceeded my expectations and is a much more acceptable alternative than I thought.

There are three things I want you to consider:
(1) What level do you want to reach? In this sense, self-correction is often unreliable.
(2) What level of satisfaction do you want to reach? Having a teacher gives you the opportunity to consult in a precise and immediate way, which always gives more security.
(3) How much effort are you willing to invest in terms of time and money? There is no point in investing money in classes if you are not able to devote the necessary time to make use of what you have learned. However, in my years of teaching experience, I have found that extraordinarily satisfactory results can be achieved with very different combinations of classes, time, and effort.

Only when this starting point is clearly defined do I help you develop a work plan that is adapted to your goals and, logically, to your learning needs. When working with inexperienced students, my pedagogical approach focuses on aural development, tone quality and articulation. In addition, I try to instill in each lesson a vital attitude towards the study of the violin that will inspire you as a student: patience, determination, perseverance, concentration, motivation, and reflection.

In my opinion, the minimum age for online violin lessons is around 8 years old. It is more difficult to get the attention of a child under the age of 8 from an online platform and I do not recommend it unless the child is exceptionally mature and highly motivated.

That's what I believe. I have seen my students (some of whom are over 60 years old), who never had the opportunity to learn to play the violin due to lack of time in their lives, fulfill their desire thanks to the possibilities offered by the Internet.

My vocation as a teacher led me to work as a face-to-face violin teacher in different conservatories in Spain, such as Ciudad Real, Guadalajara, Valladolid, Palencia and Segovia.
